Customising LCD Panel Messages

Postby Mad Professor on Thu Jan 14, 2010 12:31 pm

Good Day All.

I am trying to find a way to Customising LCD Panel Messages.

As standard when the system is booted the LCD Panel just displays the hostname and current ip address.

I seem to remember a post by I think "mr-webcam" saying that you can add custom messages to the LCD Display.

I am waiting to try and get the following info shown on the LCD Display.

hostname
ipaddress
system up time
cpu load
cpu temp
hda temp
hdc temp
raid status
fan1 status & speed
fan2 status & speed
fan3 status & speed

Plus any other info that might be useful to have on the display.

Can anyone please advice me on how to go about doing this.

Thanks for your time.

Best Regards.
